Rich yet very fresh & balanced on the palate with beautifully polished & juicy tannins and a perfect balance between the sweet fruit and sappy acidity.
This is a nice one - richer & heavier yet very drinkable at the same time.

Сушёная вишня, клубника, малина, сухие розы и пионы. Лёгкий древесный оттенок. Высокая кислотность, высокие шершавые танины, элегантное в теле, высокий алкоголь, но хорошо интегрирован. Молодое , нужно время , чтобы сгладить шероховатости. Но в целом хорошо и гармонично.

Pale garnet color. Medium+ aromas of ripe cherry, dried strawberry , raspberry, dried rose and peony, woody. Developing.
The wine is dry, high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, medium body, medium+ intense flavor of dried cherry, strawberry, rose and vanilla. Finish is medium.

Still my favorite wine from the Bertrand Domaine. This is a cuvée made without added S02 and aged in inox tanks. Pure terroir. Very nice cherry and hay nose, very inviting. The palate is well made, strong acid backbone, superb cherry notes all along, good width, a bit of a round mouthfeel. There are some light tannins in mid palate leading to a fruity finish that lasts for a while. Lovely wine! — 4 years ago

Best Greco I’ve had, and I’ve had many. This is an amazingly underrated grape, but’s great along, with cheese, or light fare. All I know is that I want to try some of the other obscure Mastrobernardino whites I can’t usually get and in fact have barely heard of. — 6 years ago
