Great, slightly sweet taste! A notch less than Johnny Walker Black Label! Had it with ice & a little bit of water! — 6 years ago
Delightful stone fruit and cream soda on the nose. Nectarines, star fruit, lemon rind and a hint of rose water.
Paired well with a beet pate

Darker Ruby with aromas of big red fruits and slight spice. On the palate bold black cherry, blackberry and plum with rich tannins around some oak. Well balanced the fruit stays with this wine on a lingering finish. — 8 years ago
Caramelized brown sugars, cola, molasses, tres leches -- rich and quite sweet. Add a few drops of cool water to drop the alcohol a bit. Delicious. — 8 years ago

I love everything that @Martinelli Winery produces! This was beautiful and went great with our steak. — 8 years ago
The Cork was well preserved. The color is opaque purple. The bouquet is that of blueberry preserves on toast. The initial palate hints of ripe plum and blackberry but no sweetness at all. The finish is very ling and reminiscent of chocolate and green figs. It is extremely dry. I feel as if my mouth is a desert screaming for water! I love it. Leaves my throat a bit tight as well.

Golden colour.
Honey and medicine nose, smoky peat develops after a few minutes.
Sweet fruit then burn and a long smoky finish, needs a few drops of water.
Delicious and changes in the glass

It's been about 17 mo. since our last bottle, and we're seeing some improvement.
Nose has warmed Granny Smith apple with butter.
Palate had serious zingy acidity to start, but since subsided, now a combo of yellow/green apple, water chestnut and a minerally honey.
We're seeing continued improvement as the decant time continues. — 5 years ago
Smooth, pairs really well with seafood — 6 years ago
If mineral water was as addictive as crack cocaine, this would be your fix. As I sip, a full-on hologram of the limestone pops ups and spins for my viewing pleasure. Calling this extraordinarily vivid would be an understatement akin to saying Usain Bolt is quick. — 7 years ago
Well worth the buck per oz. Amazing... Shout to the 209! — 8 years ago
A fantastic example of low fruit wine with tastes of rose water, ocean mist, limestone, and spices that follows scents of green apples and strawberries. Oh, and the lingering finish...yum! Pairs well with most anything, but tonight it was General Tso Chicken that this Rose cut through with ease. Look forward to meeting again. — 8 years ago
SMV +4. Yellow fruit dominated, with unripe peach, yellow papaya, melon, orange blossom water, Chenin-like honeyed quality. Impression is a little sweeter than would have expected based on technical data. Very good, nevertheless. — 8 years ago
The best darn mineral water from the Americas! — 9 years ago
Roses, cherries, graphite, dried thyme, rose water. Excellent acid/smooth velvet tannin balance, dry herbal finish. Medium bodied yet delicate. Has the structure for long aging. Drinks best in 2020 and beyond. — 9 years ago

Nothing better than a well aged Chardonnay and fatty, cold water fish. This bottle is our go to pairing for grilled steelhead trout.
Nose is evolving since my prior post, oxidized green apple peel and cold caramel.
Palate is lightly sweet lemon curd/custard, baked red apple, cooked lemon, warm granite dust and a zing of acidity on the close.
Our feline house managers pestered for comfortable portions on the trout, they are good boys and girls, generally, so we endulge.
Great night listening to Hugh Masekela and Mongo Santamaria on the HiFi, everything complimented!
One bottle left, then we move along to the next vintage. — 5 years ago
