This is a gorgeous example of structure, finesse and elegance wrapped into one bad ass wine. 13.8% abv allows the acid and tannins to balance and give backbone to the generous red and black fruits that make up the core of this wine. — 9 years ago
The colour is still youthful, power aplenty and the typical spicy/musky tones aren't hiding away. The fruit flavour is just spectacularly rich and still fresh, it travels seamlessly into a super long finish that....... I don't know.... But this is a wine to muse over. Outstanding short term rewards for little $$

Akin to a very feminine, yet extremely curvaceous muse, of questionable gender identity, like Fabio. Or maybe like a Kardashian doing manual labor.
And, I'd agree with a few of my peers on Delectable that this wine is somewhat peppery...all while being a buttery SLH Chard. Good fruit forward flavors with a present acidity. Oak notes present. I can't believe it's not butter. — 9 years ago
