Cabernet Franc from vineyards on the western shore of Seneca Lake - the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes. 11 months in neutral French oak. Pale ruby color. Quite elegant nose with red fruit, white pepper and hints of cigar. Light-bodied on the palate with tart red fruit flavors, subtle herbal and green bell pepper notes. Fresh, crunchy, high acidity. So far, one of mu favorite reds from the Finger Lakes — 3 years ago
