an arab wedding up north in israel.
this is a private label aged cab made specially by mony vineyard(juaden hills) as a private wine for the events hall where the celebration happens.
dark dense red 👀
mushrooms, cigar box, spice mix and some prunes on the background 👃
cigar and spice shop with some guy walking around trying to sell ripe fruit you aren't sure if it hasn't passed it's peak.
a few drops of Lemon juice added to the mix as well 👄
medium 🎯 with soft tannins lingering.
balanced and pleasent. not that thrilling, though.

Mony Vineyards – Tale of Rosé 2024
Judean Hills – Israel 🇮🇱
Overview
“Tale of Rosé” is a dry rosé made by Mony Vineyards, using 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Made after a nocturnal (late-night) harvest, the grapes are gently pressed to extract color lightly. (Educational note: dying rosés in this style helps preserve vibrant fruit and cool acidity by avoiding too much skin contact and heat.)
Aromas & Flavors
On the nose: strawberry, red berry, maybe watermelon or cherry tones; fresh red fruit more than anything. There’s some grapefruit or citrus zest in the background, giving brightness. Slight floral lift.
Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied, with crisp acidity and a clean finish. The color extraction is delicate, so tannins are minimal / very gentle, texture more about freshness. Finishes dry, with a little tartness.
Food Pairings
Great with lighter foods: grilled shrimp or fish, fresh salads, goat cheese, or mild poultry. Also works well with dishes with mild heat or spice, where the acidity can help cut through.
Verdict
Tale of Rosé 2024 is elegant, fresh, and easy to enjoy. It’s not a heavy rosé — it’s meant to shine with its fruit and crispness. A lovely summer-friendly bottle or aperitif-style pour. 🍷 — 12 days ago
