Amazing! A chameleon for a nose. At hour one - black fruit. Hour two - dark chocolate (I was actually shocked by how different it was!). Hour three - a mix. Lovely tannins. Great finish. Extremely well done @Mike Smith ! I'm patiently waiting for the Tuesday release! — 8 years ago
2007 Vintage V - pulled it from the cellar and shared with colleagues on the plane ride back rom San Diego Friday night. Simply spectacular. I think that Mike Lamborn and family may have picked up a few more customers! — 9 years ago

I'm loving this Rosé of Trousseau from @Mike Lucia Salmon color with appealing earthy, red fruit, stone fruit pit and wet gravel aromas. On the palate it's medium bodied, fresh, focused round and persistent with tart strawberry, watermelon, golden raspberry and lemon peel flavors with a lingering finish — 9 years ago
This vineyard can do no wrong in whomever's hands the fruit is bestowed. Day 1- Aromatic rock star, with a meek obtuse mouth. Day 2- mouth caught up. Dark, lingering, complex. — 10 years ago
Another Mike Smith Cab- very good value for 65.00 — 11 years ago
Smooth encroaching Zin. Old school. The balance hides the 15% abv. Woodsy spice and cola and Dr Pepper. Moderate tannin. Very much enjoyed this. — 8 years ago
Mike Grgich, the “King of Chardonnay” farms w/o pesticides and certified organic. Aged 10 months and did not undergo malolactic fermentation. The color is a pale golden yellow with aromas of stone, tropical fruit and citrus. The palate shows off apple, melon and peach flavors, with some orange rind and nutty notes coming through. The finish was rich and creamy with some spicy mineral and perfumed tones lingering to a complex ending. Not your typical California Chardonnay, Grgich delivers like a few can! — 8 years ago
