From a Magnum. Some green peppers and some animal scents, but not too disturbing, medium plus bodied and tannins, some freshness despite the varietal, good but not a wine that drinks easily. 89-90
Clairement Cab franc au nez comme en bouche, poivron vert, un peu animal mais à peine, quand même une fraîcheur et des tannins d’intensité moyenne, c’est bon sans être un type de vin qui se boit très facilement. — 4 years ago

First bottle was great. Restaurant wine list steal. The second bottle corked. The third bottle just not the same. Shows that there is a lot of randomness in the experience you can have with wine. — 7 years ago

Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
I made the mistake of enjoying this immediately after the Chablis-like Texture Chardonnay, so I was overwhelmed with the flavors. However, I revisited it later and actually quite enjoyed this. 32 months in oak! Very butterscotch dominant with smoked cashews and a touch of marzipan. It’s a big boy Chardonnay that holds its power well. Very unique. Thanks for the intro to this @David L . — 7 years ago
