Medium ruby with a narrow garnet rim . Touch more dense , slightly high toned nose , deeper and darker, riper fruits , touch smoky , dark cherry , liquorice. On the palate this is quite dense and tannic , with balanced acidity . Darker , deeper fruits, with blackberry , red plum and dark cherry , liquorice hints . Good length with menthol hint . Really nice Gevrey. Last had 18 mos ago and this is about the same, not sure there is a need to wait any longer. Nice tiny crunchy red fruit with great earth and good acid. Bit of that forest floor too. Great with a roast chicken and mushrooms. — 6 months ago
