Great wine to pair with a multi-dish dinner. We had a mix of heavy and light dishes at the table and this held its ground for the beef and harmonized with the lighter means. — 9 years ago
Very nice. Very relaxing wine — 5 years ago
mmmm. started out super funky, dark juicy fruit, milky. as it sat for a minute it warmed up and got more tannic and chewy. say medium tannin, balanced by medium acids and dryness. definitely bolder but not overwhelmingly so. super enjoyable. i love seb david ❤️ — 6 years ago

From the very beginning, the 2015 Canon has made an eloquent case for itself as one of the wines of the vintage. Multiple tastings from bottle only confirm what several early tastings hinted at: the 2015 Canon is simply extraordinary in every way. Sumptuous and exotic, with no hard edges and exceptional balance, the 2015 grabs hold of all the senses and never lets up. A rush of red fruit intermingled with floral notes, spice and smoke notes effortlessly runs up the wine's vertical structure as the 2015 thrills with every twist and turn. The 2015 Canon is a rare wine that is both hedonistic and intellectual - well, maybe it is a bit more hedonistic-leaning. It doesn't matter. Don't miss it. This 2015 is masterpiece from General Manager Nicolas Auderbert and his team at Canon. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2018)

Nose of vanilla, cherry, spices. Very balanced palate with fruits (cherry again, but strawberry too), round tannins, green pepper, nice acid backbone and a quite long finish. More subtle and elegant than full and ripe. I like its style — 8 years ago
Underrated wine. Good finding — 5 years ago

Very interesting wine. 100pct chenin. Starts with searing acidity. Finishes with a juicy sweet lime cordial note. — 6 years ago
Dirt, leaves, cherries. Smooth and lovely 😊 — 6 years ago
Looooooved this. So bouncy and so pine-y! I drank it cold, like past the point of chilled, because no wine fridge or central air, and I thought it was perfect that way? — 7 years ago
