Dangerously easy sipping...would have sipped more and faster if not for its child safety lock dispenser. Does this aerate or is it just to slow the pour? If the latter let's be done with it! The whisky is round and fulsome, balanced and elegant -why put a plastic contraption between horse and rider? — 10 years ago
Truly sent from the underworld. Light doesn't actually penetrate it. Syrupy sweet, coffee/chocolate notes like someone boiled down a stout into a dessert topping followed by aggressive bitter hops. The 17% abv is masked nicely until it gnaws away at your esophagus a few seconds later. — 10 years ago
This is the 2004 vintage. At a masked tasting several picked this as a burgundy. Is this Australia's best Chardonnay over Leeuwin? Depends on your style preference. This was more fuller bodied than usual. Lemon cream and minerals. 18+. — 10 years ago
Beautiful day in the cruz.. Elegance masked ever so lightly with barrel toast. — 11 years ago

Dank and lightly resinous with a well-masked 11.25% ABV, but lacking any tropical notes. — 10 years ago
God bless leftovers from @jams jerfy 's rider. 2010. Delicious. — 10 years ago
This was a 2008 and it was spectacular! Brilliant, pale garnet red with an orange rim. Medium density. Intensely aromatic and complex. High toned rose petal notes, black cherry, cassis, and a hint of graphite. High acid, hint of bitter, high heat (15% abv) is somewhat masked by extracted, viscous, extracted, silky body. Highly astringent but ripe tannins. The long finish begins with a mouthfilling rose petal perfume, followed by red cherry, tomato leaf and sweet basil. Oak flavor and aroma (coconut) is a well integrated background component. Concentrated but delivers the Nebbiolo message with finesse. — 11 years ago

1997 vintage - on the downward slide but at 18 years of age, showing its classy pedigree - interesting to taste against the 04 tasted at the masked Zin tasting 1/12 ago - fruit has faded but structure & length maintained — 10 years ago
Light, fresh and tasty. A style that lends itself to what Sam Adams seems to do well. — 10 years ago
We really enjoyed it. Bottle itself is heavy duty. — 10 years ago
What I will be drinking for Thanksgiving! Lively, zingy, masked touch of sweetness. — 10 years ago
This was the first wine that we brought of the night. H Keplinger killed it with this vintage. What an unbelievable elegant expression of Garnacha from Priorat. Despite the fact that it is 15.5% alcohol, it is completely masked. Soft tannins, velvety texture that feels like silk on the palate. Bravo! — 11 years ago
Sangiovese, Merlot, and Tenat. Dry, clean finish. Strawberries and clementine. — 11 years ago
