So subtle - dried orange peel, potpourri and creamed corn - a delight, thank Hugh β 7 years ago

@Bill Bender Wish you and the remainder of the π·Wine Nerd Herdπ· were here right now! This baby is going down so ever so smoothly! You would really dig it! And so would they!!! β 7 years ago
Creamy smooth with incredible nice finish. One of the best I have ever had. For the price however I would take Michters 20 β 8 years ago
This is just ridiculous. Act 7. Tastes of deep figs/plums up front as if grandma just baked a pie in your mouth. Finished smooth with a tiny bit of spice and more jams that make you want to cry. More of this please. β 6 years ago
Smokey and smooth. Very nice β 7 years ago
Great, slightly sweet taste! A notch less than Johnny Walker Black Label! Had it with ice & a little bit of water! β 7 years ago
Complex flavor, spicy yet smooth β 8 years ago
Beautiful bourbon, nice amount of oak, brown sugar, vanilla and easy to drink. β 6 years ago
I tried this right out of the bottle and was a little worried - super tight and one dimensional - but after two hours open it was singing and I was smiling. The nose has a more savory profile but the palate is full of bright red fruits with crushed gravel on the finish. Super smooth - the fruit and spice from the Grenache keeps the gaminess/savory flavors of the Syrah in check while the MourvΓ¨dre adds richness. Helen Keplinger is a genius when it comes to these new world βold world blendsβ - I have yet to have one from her that hasnβt been fantastic. β 8 years ago
