See previous note 2 years ago in March 2022. Still very consistent impressions. Black and blue fruits, as mentioned before. Dried plum and earth with herbal notes (fennel). Priorat Garnacha and Garnacha blends are some of my favourite wine styles. Clos Mogador is biodynamic and Rene Barbier does not use chemicals in the vineyard. — 2 years ago
Cocoa, cinnamon and clove come together with crushed plums and balsam herbs as the 2018 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico blossoms in the glass. This is silky and enveloping yet cool-toned in feel, with depths of dark red fruits nicely contrasted by a core of saline minerality. The 2018 finishes structured and long, tugging at the palate with grippy tannins as hints of Baker's chocolate and inner rose slowly fade. This is a vertical and racy edition of Allegrini Amarone, but it will require some time to come fully into focus. (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2023) — 3 years ago
The 2021 Cornas is a solid red that’s concentrated and elegant, offering crushed violet, red plum, red cherry and iodine layers paired with stemmy gradations. The medium-bodied 2021 concludes with wonderful freshness on the savory finish. It shouldn’t take long to come around, something that cannot be said for the surrounding vintages. The 2022 Vino Rosso Munaloss is bright, focused and sculpted. Sweet red fruit, sage, mint and blood orange abound in this super-expressive wine. Exuberant yet classically built, the 2022 has fine energy and tons of class. This is a fabulous entry-level offering. $20.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2024) — 2 years ago

The 2006 Vintage is a rich, opulent Champagne. Passion fruit, apricot, tangerine peel and spice all show the signs of a warm, radiant year. All the elements are so well balanced. The 2006 is an especially opulent Krug endowed with fabulous balance and tons of class. Warm weather during the summer yielded an extroverted Champagne that is already quite delicious. There was some disease pressure in August, but favorable weather in September helped stave that off. The rich, dense style of the 2006 stands in sharp contrast to the 2004 and 2008 in this tasting. Disgorged: Spring 2019. Krug ID: 219022. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2024)
