Started out super inky and overextracted but with a few minutes of air it showed off brilliant depth of black and blue fruits. Mineral streak and balanced acids gave lift to a wine that could of easily sailed into flabby land because of its weight. Simply brilliant and delicious wine. Great job Marcelo! — 8 years ago

Purple dark color and red berries to the nose. Medium tanines and a bit of pepper. Long finish that lingers for a while. This is a young Malbec meant to be drank today. Great with grilled steak. — 8 years ago

A beautiful blend of Cab Franc and Malbec with dash of Syrah. On the nose it was a interplay between red and black fruits, violet, and hint of barnyard. Entry was smooth, fresh, and elegant, building up an intense mid palate with spice, pepper, chocolate and a long meaty finish. I really like what Marcelo Pelleriti, of 100-point Chateau La Violette and 99-point Chateau Le Guy fame, is doing with all these projects with various artist in Argentina. — 6 years ago

Say what you want about Michel Rolland, but this exudes sooooo much character and is becoming a secondary stud! Killer fruit profile with damp earthen elements at its core. Shares some of the same blue clay soils as it's neighbor (Chateau Petrus!). Thank you to Marcelo and Henri Parent for hosting me and my wife for our stay in Pomerol at the estate!!! — 7 years ago
