Such a pleasant surprise! Great bargain here and very cool - Alsacian Pinot! My first. Earthy notes waft out of the glass along with some cherries. Great structure, medium tannins, beautiful mouthfeel. Love the earthy flavors of mushroom, baking spices, and mineral mixed with cherry and plum. Great finish. — a year ago
Gorgeous Gewurz nose of lychee, musky florals, and some clean mountain stream stones. Drier styled in the mouth. Upfront fruit and minerality, a little countering bitter component on the finish. Just about pitch perfect. — 10 months ago
Lemon, peach and stone. Nice mouth feel. Delicious — 2 years ago
Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 3 years ago
Great aromatics, just wanted a little bit more. — 8 months ago
Thought we had the last bottle a year ago but realized we had one more. Really very nice - a sort of time capsule wine, taking you back nearly two decades with the depth of amber color and honeyed flavor. So well balanced, with the secondary round fruit giving way to nice acids (more than I recall on the bottle a year ago). Fun one for sure. — 9 months ago

Relativt slank PG med drag åt riesling. Toner av aprikos men inte oljig eller champinjon. Fin mineralitet och syra. Elegznt och mycket gott — 5 years ago

Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 3 years ago
Warm vintage cru Beaujolais sourced from a tiny plot in the Côte du Py vineyard. There’s a lot to be said about the fruit-forward spiciness, but for me the nuances are flattened by a richness I associate with a higher ABV - the wines that are coming to mind are Williams Selyem’s pinots rather than a Beaujolais or Burgundy. Not really for me but a worthwhile avenue to explore if you want to try a different, relatively subtler version of a big red. — 5 years ago

Vintage 2015 | this wine disappointed me, sweet but not cloying, good balance but also a hint of oxidation and less body than I would expect. — 6 months ago
