Servi aussi à l’aveugle, pas mal tout le monde est en dehors de la bourgogne… C’est plus facile quand on sait c’est quoi le vin. Au nez on remarque tout de suite le millésime 2004 par son côté green du
manque de maturité des raisins. Malgré tout, il y a de la complexité, une belle pureté de fruit principalement la cerise, des épices asiatiques et du piment. C’est frais et aérien. L’emporte

Jahrgang 2008! Eine Cuvée aus Blaufränkisch, Zweigel und Merlot aus Gols vom Altmeister "John" Nittnaus. Lange, lange hat es gedauert, aber genau jetzt zeigt dieser Wein was in ihm steckt. Schon beim ersten Mal ins Glas riechen merkt man, dieser Wein ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das, was dann im Mund passiert solltet Ihr unbedingt selbst erleben. Eine perfekte Balance aus Frucht(Kirche/Zwetschgen/Brombeeren), beeindruckender Länge und perfekt eingebundenen Tanninen. Welch ein Meisterwerk! Ich bin überwältigt. Chapeau! Nachfolgend der Kommentar von WP, dem ist nur noch hinzuzufügen, dass es sich um einen der geilsten Weine der letzten Zeit handelt und das ich unbedingt mal nach Ibiza will 😄 Fester, kühler und relativ herber, etwas tabakiger Duft nach teils eingemachten gemischten Beeren und Kirschen mit feinen gewürzigen Holzaromen, etwas Provence-Kräutern und Pfeffer sowie noblen schokoladigen und ledrigen Nuancen. Klare, geschliffene, ausgesprochen saftige Frucht, sehr feines, jugendliches Tannin, moderate Holzwürze, zurückhaltende, noble Bitterschokoladentöne, ätherische Noten, zarter Säurebiss, ziemlich fester Bau, dabei sehr elegant, nachhaltig, etwas gewürzig, ein Hauch Kaffee, mineralische Anklänge, ganz eigener Charakter, ungeheuer animierend, hat Finessen, ausgesprochen feiner Saft auch im sehr guten Abgang. Medium ruby. More soil character than most of the other Borghetto wines in this range- mushroom and potting soil notes coming through. Wet concrete aroma and stronger sense of minerality as well. Again it’s a tart red fruit profile of pomegranate, peppermint candy, orange rind and menthol. Mid palate provides the necessary warm spice character and sweet tannins that turn much harder and more bitter on the finish. This will need more time to settle down and develop its fruit, but very complex and showing some great potential. — 7 years ago
