Can’t remember if this is my second or third bottle of this over the last few years but it never disappoints. Nose isn’t shy with the musky, earthy, lychee nut and sweet pear scents. Sweet fruit cocktail on the first hit, but then some nice minerality and acids enter on the off dry finish. Amazing for $15. — 6 years ago
Lovely lychee, saffron and pear make for a delicious sipper that will complement spicy or sweet food. Rich, but not unctuous. — 7 years ago
2015 vintage. Good aromatics and lively freshness. Poached pear, apricot, yellow apple, honeysuckle, lychee. A pillowy softness helps as a counterpoint to zippy acidity. — 7 years ago
Youthful and aromatic with that lychee hitting right off the nose. Some stone fruit but mostly dry. RS 0.7 — 4 years ago
Pale clear yellow color. Aroma and nose of musk, intense honey, lychee. Smooth and seems sweeter than it is. This another great Alsace gewurtztraminer — 5 years ago
Lychee, apricot and maybe roses?!
Perfect on its own, yet with a short finish. — 6 years ago
Lots of floral aromatics on the nose with white peach, lychee and lemon verbena on the palate. Lovely mouthfeel. — 7 years ago
Sweet. Distinct. Honeysuckle. Lychee. — 7 years ago
Wet stone, lychee, stone fruit, amazing value!! — 8 years ago
starting my first Dr Konstantin Frank lineup with his Finger Lanes Gewurztraminer. nose dominated by fresh lychee. getting some some tropical melon and lemon rind, and a little bit of saltwater. tropical is the theme for me. similar on the palate. a very nice win at a bargain price. — 4 years ago
This is great! Off dry, lots of lychee. Solid acidity, only 11% — 5 years ago
Clear, pale gold with clean pronounced aromas if jasmine, citrus and lychee. Crisp and refreshing with a long finish. Flavors of citrus, pear, white melon. — 7 years ago
Highly off dry. But well balanced. Lots and lots of lychee. Very nice. — 7 years ago
An old favorite I haven't seen in some time. Pale yellow in color, lychee and pear notes in nose as promised on label, maybe some other tropical or pineapple note. Tangerine, lychee and pear flavors in mouth, floral and tropical fruit finish with mild mouth-coating astringency. A day later, date and pineapple flavors emerge. Almost bone dry, well made. Better with food but a worthy dry GT, and a benchmark — 7 years ago
