A fantastic RRV Pinot. Zephyr Farms is bear the Sonoma Coast. Lunar is one of our favorite wineries . — 11 years ago
Like a tank sample, even with some crushed seeds/sediment/cloudiness, great acidity though, apple skin complexity, fun stuff. — 7 years ago
A little bit of volatility that quickly blew off, leaving a full-fruited, lightly off-dry Chenin that was gorgeous. Stellar (lunar?) indeed — 9 years ago
Celebrated Lunar New Year last year with this special Cabernet. Silky, bold fruit and smooth, complex but deliciously drinkable. — 9 years ago

Really unique story, flavor profile and color... I found this at Bacchanal in New Orleans... it was featured on their flight. Go out and find it! — 7 years ago
Great wine shared with my family for Lunar New Year's Eve. This wine showed longevity and the flavor was pure clover honey. The acid was fresh and lively. Drink now or hold for another 5 years. — 8 years ago
Light and lively with a complex structure. Perfect for watching the lunar eclipse with the dark haired girl. — 9 years ago
Very expressive on the nose. Cool, fresh palate presence. Nice balance of fruit, earth and floral aspects. $11 btg I — 9 years ago

Today is Chinese lunar new year in LA! Gotta pop a nice one. Dark inky purple color, not showing a bit of aging at all. Fine leather, mushrooms, forest floor, smoked bacon, graphite, herb, not much fruit character on the nose but mostly are black fruits, also mixed with some sweet cinnamon. Tannins are not fading at all, very young, very dry on the palate, chewy. Some tobacco leaves and dark chocolate as well. 30+ seconds finish. Still has decade to go. Love it! 13.5% alc. 2004 vintage — 7 years ago
