The best Tempranillos I've had come from Texas, but this one Santa Barbara is really good. — 12 years ago
2012 McPherson Texas High Plains Roussanne. Aromatic and lush with notes of Asian pear, apricot skin, pineapple and honeysuckle blossom. Round and smooth texture. Quite good. #wine #texas #txwine #roussanne — 13 years ago

Very well made Chard with generous but not overpowering oakiness. — 12 years ago
Probably one of the most complete barrel aged stouts I've had. Massive amounts of dark chocolate, coffee, and bourbon-y notes. Finishes unusually very sweet and round. The first time I have seen this in Texas since we got distribution. — 12 years ago

Not to dry not to sweet. Full body! — 13 years ago
Yesterday was a bit crazy, so I'm a little delayed on our Easter wine review. Being warm in Texas and since my Dad was in town, I decided to open this Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Light, crisp with plenty of fruit and not overpoweringly sweet, this wine has been my favorite Pinot since Heidi & I 1st tried it in Napa. A good price is under $75, so this is not an everyday drinker; but, they also have a 2nd label called Jayson (a solid Pinot for $45). Also not cheap, however, these are not mass produced "named" wines with pretty labels. I prefer quality and low yield, even if it costs a little more. Cheers! — 13 years ago

This is my favorite of red wines that they have produced. Dark, jammy cinnamon fruit cake backbone. Petite Sirah is very present. Lots of dark Blackberry, spice, hint of Ash. Full-bodied wine. French wine maker with amazing talents doing great things with Texas grapes. Cheers! — 10 years ago
