Fresh, light and delicious. Worked well as a BBQ wine.

Giving this the time to open up is vital. Right after opening, it offered some black olive notes with good oak spice. 30 min later, it was giving great amounts of creamy red fruit, and several hours later was totally lush while still having good tannin structure. I love this winery.

Blackberry fruit, earthy spice, definitely bramble all up inda hizzie. Wasn't cool enough at 65, so dunked it 5min and much fresher.

Dark ruby in color with a dark red rim.

Medium intensity on the nose with blackberries, blueberries, cherries, gentle vanilla, oak, wild flowers, plums and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body, smooth and elegant, with gorgeous legs and medium minus acidity.

Somewhat tart and earthy on the palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, vanilla, toasted oak, spices, earth and peppercorn.

Medium plus finish with smooth, round yet bitter tannins and black pepper.

This Nice Californian blend Has a lot of Bordeaux feel in it, but it is not worth the price.

79% Zinfandel, 12% Carignane, 8% Petite Sirah, 1% Alicante Bouchet.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

WA 90, WE 90.

Great as a late night option when non-oenophiles showed up after my brother's birthday dinner.

2012 vintage Despite 79% Zinfandel in blend, seems to lack varietal character. A nice drinking California red wine, however. It needs at least half an hour to open.
