Sneaky ripe for an Hermitage. A lot of fruit right out of the gate, but as it warms/breathes...The classic tar, meat and leather starts to emerge. What a wine — 8 years ago
Confected peach, honeysuckle, walnut paste, cantaloupe and canned pineapple. A great producer with an often overlooked white wine (but only because his red wines are so damn good) — 10 years ago
A delightful Brut with the crispness of pear and green apple accented with strawberry and raspberry. A nice rose to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday and to enjoy on a sunny Sunday. — 6 years ago
Upfront and transparent and confrontational. Strong posture. Wears a leather jacket in the summer. Blood and rust and repressed tears and a grainy black and white western. Cigarettes that he rips the filter off of to make them stronger. — 7 years ago

This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago

Pale yellow color. Aromas of lemon, Granny Smith apples and orange blossoms. Perfectly balanced, just enough citrus with a mineral finish. Paired nicely with some chicken piccata, roasted potatoes and focaccia. — 5 years ago
