Probably not technically as good as it tastes. This is a big, rich, flavorful wine with lots of dark fruit and high in alcohol at 15% which is most noticeable upon opening so let it breathe. I like to just sip it but also enhances food especially roasted red meats and strong cheeses with crusty bread. Wine snobs will undoubtedly be critical but so what! It’s just a good solid inexpensive wine that tastes good. Enjoy! — 8 months ago

Haven’t had a Turley in years, and this is good. Fruit leather on the nose, with very soft, light berries on the palate. Low acidity. Subtle minerals, herbs and spice. Overall dry, with some sweetness. Hint of thyme. Light-bodied (12.5% abv) with clear ruby color and pleasing tannins. Medium-long finish. Great with cured meats. — 6 months ago
Very hardy Zin. Would definitely recommend to all. Dark cherry and spice on the nose and great finish. — 2 years ago

Exceptional Zin! Huge raspberry and vanilla with a spicy finish. Round and full in the mouth with a super nice lingering finish. Going back for a case. — 5 months ago

An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 4 years ago
