Lock me away for infanticide, because opening this baby was nothing less. All of the pieces were there, structure, dark fruit, rich baking spices...but they were all hidden below a vail of green astringency. Another few years and that same note will open into beautiful sage, or smoky woods. — 9 years ago
The age ability of NYS reds from awesome vintages is on display. 2010 Reserve Pinot Noir has come from one of the best years for Reds in the FLX. Earth and aged tobacco on the nose. Delicious, black cherry and plum that finishes with an astoundingly big finish full of buzzing tannin. It makes me wonder how much longer I could have kept it under lock and key in my storage to see how long it could've made it. Small estate grown, limited production from a great winery. — 10 years ago
Not bad.
Peppery and berry-ry
Had the 2010 vintage. — 10 years ago

Gooses! Geeses!
I want my geese to lay gold eggs for Easter
At least a hundred a day
And by the way
I want a feast.
I want a bean feast!
Cream buns and doughnuts and fruitcake with no nuts
So good you could go nuts
I want a ball
I want a party
Pink macaroons and a million balloons
And performing baboons and ...
Give it to me
Righhhhhhhht
Now!
I want the world
I want the whole world
I want to lock it all up in my pocket
It's my bar of chocolate
Give it to me

Smooth from start to finish, full silky flavor with soft, sweet nose, very balanced. Not sure if it's worth the $24 price... — 9 years ago

All you expect from Nebbiolo and a stellar cooperative at an early drinking approachable profile. The 2012 Barbaresco by contrast is lock down tannins! — 8 years ago
Dark plum & raspberry fruits on the nose, hint of charcoal. Definitely black tea on the finish - this one improved significantly after an hour or so decant - Pritchard Hill is a special place - if you are a Syrah fan find some of this and lock it down — 9 years ago
It is now very obvious to me why you lock Dunn in your cellar for decades (plural)! In sure ten plus years from now my score would be much higher. — 9 years ago
Good. You can lock me up anytime wth this wine. I'll be your Prisoner — 9 years ago
Dangerously easy sipping...would have sipped more and faster if not for its child safety lock dispenser. Does this aerate or is it just to slow the pour? If the latter let's be done with it! The whisky is round and fulsome, balanced and elegant -why put a plastic contraption between horse and rider? — 10 years ago
Some pretty special oldies in here. Heavy lock in at Sager + Wilde — 11 years ago

Nose of; blackberries, blueberries, plum, black raspberries, violets and soft spices. This 80-90% new oak...2/3 French & 1/3 American. M+ tannins, blueberries, blackberries, black plum, plum, black raspberries, pepper, strong leather, anise, dry crush rocks, mint, tarry notes, red fruits come on the longer finish, tarry notes and a good presence of baking spices. Ripe, round, fruits on a beautifully consistent long finish with very acidity. Photos of some old fortified barrels and a grand display of some very old vintages of; "Hermitage", "Grange" etc. I would love to open and taste but kept under serious lock & key. — 8 years ago
