Decided now would be a good time to try out out the 2013 Prisoner. While not as good as the 2011 the structure is different, showing a ton of black pepper and balsamic on the nose with a little bit of violet flowers, and a very lovely, elegant finish. Big bold red and black fruits give way to a lush, black peppery back end. The finish is shorter than expected but still nice. This is still a good wine, just not as good as previous vintages. — 10 years ago
Very drinkable. Dry yet a little fruity. Great with a steak — 11 years ago

I love this wine! It is always so balanced. Extremely smooth with very little tannins showing, being so young. A wine that never disappoints no matter the vintage. — 9 years ago
Unique blend. A little sweet. Good table wine. Not for everyone though. Kinda breaks the rules of red wine. — 10 years ago
This is an excellent wine. Full, robust, and had a little spice to it. — 11 years ago

1st vintage if this wine, so a real treat to try. A little shrill and sharp at the front. Lovely fruit. Still some fresh notes but in a good place age-wise. Doesn't hang together as well as the wines beside it. — 8 years ago
