Cold night in Seattle calls for a smoky WA red blend. This is rather nice, not our usual style, but very well-made. Not too sweet or hot like many of its brethren. Pomegranate and wood on the delicate nose, blackberry and pepper on the palate. Oak is present but not overwhelming. Nice work. — 9 years ago

What a blast in flavour!! The taste lingers long enough to make you want another sip.
The color is deep burgundy.
The legs are slow snd long.
I'll be back for more of this beauty. — 9 years ago

Hands down the best California Petit Sirah I have had. It's balanced with ripe fruit and and suave tannins. Rhone characteristics mingle with Cali fruit. At under $10 a bottle, this is the best deal on the wine planet! — 13 years ago
Enjoyed from a split last night. This makes you feel better about your alcohol consumption when you only drink at 375 in 25 minutes. Well, maybe not. This is Krug, so do I really need to describe it? Not oxidative or reductive. Draws the perfect fine line in the sand between the two factions. And does each one impeccably well. I'm in love. — 7 years ago

Early tartness moving on to blackberries and dark damp old forest wood lingering taste after about a half hour. Will get another bottle for 2020!

Holy moly, where did this one come from!? This had the nose of full throttle drunken elderberries and freshly baked blackberry pie with pepper and spice and everything nice! This tastes like whole cluster Grenache If there really is such a thing. Black and blue, pepper and spice, black cherry cola, mouth coating, inky. Dissecting out all of the notes that were swirling around, it would take me probably an hour, and everyone would be bored and probably stop reading. This was massive. And has probably a couple of decades left! — 7 years ago
