Vinnie and I feel like Lewis could arguably be the best winemaker out there period. So so so good. Hadn't ever had the Hillstone - we had been saving this one - wowzers — 11 years ago

Favorite! Christmas 2012! Amazing! — 13 years ago
Unmistakable Walla Walla nose. Deep leather, dark blue earthy cellared berry aroma. Dark fruits, the slightest hint of vanilla, extremely well balanced. High tannin but medium acid makes it so smooth.....with the longest finish, still building for a complete minute before it slowly lingers away. — 10 years ago

Light oak, refreshing, not too heavy, not usually a huge Chardonnay fan, but love this wine. — 11 years ago

Ratings are biased by the logo. Again this is a wine that would fetch 91 or 92 if served blind. Crisp front with green apple and a little bit a Buttah. The middle is a little more hefty, melon and honeydew. Finish is acidic. Lots of activity going on here. Wine went well with a Caesar salad and cheese. Better when served colder and without acoutrement. Our winner of the whites during the last visit. Great QPR. — 9 years ago
