Nice Albariño. Citrus and florals present. Great summer supper. Purchased at Keif & Co in NOLA — 8 years ago
Such a beautifully expressive & high toned Langhe, if only other Langhe's could give back so much at a young age. — 9 years ago
Creamy and hoppy with grapefruit like bitterness on the finish. Can't go wrong with Chouffe. — 9 years ago

A nice burgundy. Smooth and a bit smoky at the end — 10 years ago
From a lieu dit surrounded by Gevrey. Definitely young but with a couple hour decant quite enjoyable and accessible. Tons of sweet cherry on the nose; aromatically really quite intense. Full on the palate, get more tannin than I was expecting, but very nicely balanced by a lot of acid. Enjoyed it with a roast chicken provencal but could have stood up to red meat too. Nice qpr at ~$30. Note this is not the “cuvee unique”, which apparently a 100% new oak bottling - this is the regular which is 85% old. — 5 years ago

Been a little bit since I checked in on this. Baby Clos des Chenes. Nose is all stones, minerals, light cherry and seems closed aromatically. Palate is lush and rich with lovely balance, purity and freshness but seems closed. Lovely finesse. Serious dense fruit and structure. Black and red cherries. Great length but I'll check back in 2 hours if I'm up. If not tomorrow. — 8 years ago

Smoky, earthy, funky & awesome. — 10 years ago
Great balance between white pepper and minerality. A little too light for bbq but great for 2+ glasses with a full moon out tonight. 2012 Ribiera Sacra - Pena do Lobo. Nevermind the thirsty monkey #riberasacra #redwine #red #spain — 10 years ago
Super good! Typical Aussie style, big, but opened up very nicely after decanting. Not jammy, a little tannic, but overall great — 5 years ago
a little acidic at first but it really opens up as you drink it. i like it more and more. — 5 years ago
Drinking well - earthy with a little funk — 8 years ago
Nicely mellowed 2011 and still a good amount of the familiar Haisma spice. — 8 years ago
Niiiccce. Huge limestone and contrasting canned pineapple and pear. Monster wine, lots of material here but still waiting to integrate. — 9 years ago
