100% Mourvèdre from Paso. Delicious and an incredible value. Rich, deep and voluptuous-you can dive right into the glass with this one. Slate and cherry undertones on the nose. Long finish out the back side. Love this wine. — 7 years ago
Great grape. 2nd glass much better than the first. Think the wine needed a moment. Huge fan! — 8 years ago
Spicy notes with a buttery smooth finish! — 8 years ago
Subtle oxidative notes, verging on those of "old wine". Plays with being past its peak without ever teetering over the ledge. Earth and saline have taken over from whatever fruit was present a dozen years ago. If this makes any sense to anyone, given the lack of fruit, lack of tannic tertiary nuances and lack of oak signature, this is like a pure, elegant distillation of wine as it ventures into late middle age. Bald spot, paunch, wisdom, slight world-weariness. — 9 years ago
Last bottle at Hospice du Rhône 2018. Depeche Max pulled this out of his hat late in the evening while Yves Gangloff and Mark Adams (Saxum/Ledge) were jammin’ on a Dead song at the closing BBQ. . Fitting end to a great weekend. Still a stunning wine, — 7 years ago
Concentrated and complex. Wonderful Syrah. — 8 years ago

A tasty wine from Paso. Raspberry and blueberries - jammy. Easy drinking. — 9 years ago
Viewed my first rocket launch tonight, a SpaceX Falcon 9 out of Vandenberg AFB. Photo is just after booster separation. Booster then returned and landed. This is the only wine I Had with a space tie, at least in name. A former second label for Mark Adams of Ledge and long time Saxum assistant. I presume this is a GSM. Big fruit Paso profile and 15.5% ABV. Tasty and a good buy at $15. — 7 years ago
2009 tasting wonderful. Plum, led, ink, well balanced. — 7 years ago

Very similar to the Ledge (both were an identical 15.5%). Fruit forward, high octane syrahs. Both very well made wines in this style. If you want nuance you better look elsewhere. — 8 years ago

Massive black fruits, this needed a bit of air to tame. Once it did, it was a beauty, full bodied with a tinge of spice. Loved it — 6 years ago
