When @Jill Bernheimer tells me she has a wine I'll love with a label I'll love, she means it! It tastes like the lovechild of a classic Pinot Noir and a young, punk Gamay. Soft and a bit earthy with lightly spiced, macerated cherries, and tart cranberry concentrate with vibrant acidity. It's a perfect Thanksgiving wine, or "hey I'm hanging in sweatpants" wine. — 9 years ago

Punchy aromatics of red berries and ferment, but nicely unified. Sour raspberry, red roses, and green stems with a cherry candy finish.

Ridiculous fine grained tannins scream for a big bold steak to pair with, but the rest of this wine is like the sleekest steam engine your post-apocalyptic cyber punk fantasies can imagine. Still plenty of that green herbaciousness, red and black fruits and the oak embellishes, but doesn't overpower. Somehow got lucky, and I'm happy for it. — 8 years ago
