Lea & Sandeman

Sandeman

Founder's Reserve Ruby Porto

Color of saturated purple, nice legs. Nose of chocolate, cocoa, plum, spicy alcohol, strawberry syrup, and more alcohol. Taste mirrors the nose with addition of dense sweetness, black peppery, sweet grapes, touch of mint and oak, tannins, and some zest. Aftertaste shows some more coke cola, caramel sweetness. Very comforting and sweet. — 4 years ago

Apitiv Reserve White Porto Malvasia Fina Blend

Reminiscent of orange marmalade with almonds, hints of cinnamon and raisin; boozy. Cheaper bottle of port, but potential for a couple years of aging, I’d guess. — 4 years ago

LBV Late Bottled Vintage Porto 2014

Structured and drier than the effusively ripe and sweet 2014 Churchill’s LBV 2014 we drank over the past few nights, this needs some aging, we’ll made!! — 6 years ago
