Very fruit forward! Easy afternoon drinking wine — 3 years ago
Cherry forward on the nose and hay and an earthy thing. It's almost burgundian. The palate is very well done with a strong acid backbone, superb cherry notes all along, a very soft mouthfeel, almost velvetty. A good width and some matter, no real tannins to speak of and a very nice and long tannins that leaves a fresher, almost tangy note in the end. In a great place right now, this is everything I love in Beaujolais. — 4 years ago

Really nice, had in France — a year ago
Le nez prend un peu de temps à se placer, nez assez classique de rive-gauche par la suite, ne montre aucune fatigue, superbe texture, une finale longue et savoureuse, très beau. 92-93
The nose needs some air, the cork was wet with some aromas of wet cardboard at first but things got for the better after with no apparent defect and a classic left bank nose. Gorgeous balanced Cos, not the most powerful at this point but gracious, showing no fatigue also with a long delicious finish.

A very happy find, this grenache/syrah blend. It's heavy on the cassis, licorice, and stone. Some blood orange on the bitter-ish finish. But, not unpleasant in any way. I agree with Scott's note: This wine does go down softer than most CDR's. @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego
