(Disgorged 1/19)- Always my favorite of the Lieux-Dits and without question one of the very best Blanc de Blancs Champagnes on the planet, it’s stunning tonight, rich, powerful and intense with crazy depth to its layers, unfurling in a Burgundy glass to reveal its complex core of rich orchard fruit, roasted nuts, gun smoke, old rum barrels and candied white flowers, all with seamless integration and balance. The palate is generous and detailed, with racy acids, waves of saline laced chalky Le Mesnil minerals and a finish that just keeps going. For me, the BdB benchmark. — 7 months ago

Romance and desire in a bottle. A pale salmon color with a plethora of pretty little bubbles. The nose is evocative and alluring with typical rosé champagne aromas of soft red fruits and warm brioche rolls.
Pure Pinot Noir from a house famed for Chardonnay and it just works so, so very well. Nice length and a wonderful personality. Just enough tension and drama to keep you more than interested. Strawberries and pears in the mouth, along with a bit of melon and apples. Very nice upon opening but much improved on the second day. Fun, fun stuff.

Very fruit forward and sumptuous. You can tell this wine had a method behind the craftsmanship. Delicious with apple/pear juices. Very dry and delicious. — 2 years ago
A bit disappointing compared to the prior versions. Light, creamy mouth feel, very low lees notes but the mineral precision is not quite there — 4 years ago
Consistently delicious and great value in Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Champagne.
Fresh, reductive, lively on the palate. Green apple, lemon, lime zest, baguette crust, pineapple, white peach, lanolin, cream, perfect chalk & minerality, yellow & white florals, beautiful acidity and rich polished finish that persists.

An impressively attractive salmon colored robe with lively effervescence. The nose is amazing. Just the right amount of everything good. Red apples and underripe cherries for days. There’s an undercurrent of spice throughout this champagne starting here that’s positively lovely. Peaches and pastries, along with a touch of smoke.
Predominately Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs with a smattering of Pinot Noir. In the world of non vintage rosé champagnes, this stands near the top. Elegant and dry, there’s outstanding balance here and it improves in the glass over time. Restrained red fruit on the palate with some citrus peeking through. More spice on the long finish that leaves you wanting more. A superb champagne. — 4 months ago
