So @Larissa Mitchell is on European time (I need to NOT wake up at 330am desperately) and then Anthony Bourdain was on CNN touring the French alps. Hence my venture out from California to France. This was the best French I could find at the grocery store.
Not too bad. Strong merlot characteristics but lighter than a California merlot. #inNAPAitrust
Winemaker Notes
Deep ruby-garnet color with aromas of fresh red berries, mingled with notes of cedar and spice. Lovely red fruits, with full rich flavors balanced by silky tannins.

Dry, a bit licory, with a yellow color. Very much appreciated because of the taste and the dryness. — 6 years ago

The Greek wines were the best of the bunch!
The Rapsani had cigar box, burning wood, barnyard, cherries, and campfire. Lovely!
The last wine was a dessert wine that was brown in color and contained massive caramel. Very thick and sweet, but refined. — 4 years ago

Nice wine. Dry and drinkable. Nice surprise for a wine from Greece. Medium body — 6 years ago
Typically mildly sharp, spicy notes, smooth xinomavro — 6 years ago
I don’t even know where to begin to describe this wine. The nose is herbal and savory but has citrus pith. The palate has an orange creamsicle inside that’s been stripped of its sweetness and replaced with salinity and the leaves of some herb I can’t quite place. — 7 years ago
