Continue to like Rossese, and this is a nice one. Lighter bodied - sort of Italy’s answer to loire cab franc. Tons of tart cherry - really tons of red fruit. Good acid. A bit simple perhaps quite tasty. — 6 years ago

This is a wine of intense subtlety. Deep golden color and tight, but medium acidity. The notes are complex and many, but they are not obvious. Starts with strong saline and brine. Then moves to mineral and stone, with underlying green apple, slight zest, and some minimal tropical notes. It packs a punch and requires a long time on the palate to fully open up and appreciate.

Средне-легкое тело с хорошим напряжением, активной, но не слишком нервной кислотностью и мягким танином. Собранно и подтянуто, с нетяжёлой, естественной концентрацией. Nose: petro, diesel, rubber, old oak barrels. Taste: petro, strong oak, then it's fresh peach, fresh apricots, classic great aged Reisling, dry sherry.
