So smooth. Dark fruit. Bold, low tannins. Delicious. — 5 months ago
2015. Wasn’t sure what to pair with this delicious Filipino rice dish with longanisa, chicken, and cumin crab fat butter (likely a wide range of whites, rosés, and lighter reds would work well), but I wanted to try this Spanish Crianza and it was wonderful! The fruit flavors were enough to complement the sweet sausage and the smooth tannins cut through the richness without intensifying the spice. — 6 months ago
Waitrose. Excellent, well rounded Rioja. — 9 months ago
Beautiful salmon color in the glass, spring flowers on the nose, paired perfectly with charcuterie & pintxos at Coqueta, with just enough acidic muscle to stand up to the food. — 6 years ago
Per usual, Decanter rankings have no connection to reality — 3 months ago

Rhonda likes. Buy a bottle, but probably not a case. — 6 years ago
At first we thought it was corked. After about an hour it started kicking off and probably with more time would even excel. Black and red cherry notes with earthy - leathery spices. Light, soft and balanced tannins. High rate for its age. — 8 years ago
3.2. A nice Rioja, but a little dull. Perhaps 2018 was not such a good year. On sale for ‘$18.99. — 3 months ago
Really good Reserva — 5 months ago

Sight: Completely opaque, blood red, slight tawny. On nose: fruit forward, tobacco. On mouth: very smooth, full bodied, was difficult to taste fruits but strong oak and earthy presence. Might not have been at correct temperature. — 3 months ago
