Paul T, Missing My Beautiful Wife 24/7
I was so close to opening some 2016 Beast today, but went old schoolBought at Nicolas rue de Saint Dominique. The most close I am looking for a full-time bodied wine, but not very complex — 7 years ago
Enjoyed this more than my first bottle a few months ago. Has settled down a bit. Quaffable, bright tart red fruit. Again was better on day 2. Not "pure" bottling — 9 years ago
Wonderful balance of sugar and acid with distinct and delicious apricot. A meal in itself — 9 years ago

San antonio bobs steak and chophouse. Darioush was better at that pricepoint. Nuttier and spicier than darioush. — 7 years ago

I love Loire reds. Earthy, floral, balanced and nuanced acid and tannins, medium light — 13 years ago
Like this! Floral, nice acidity, herbal notes, cranberry — 7 years ago
1982 vintage. In magnum. Medium lemon hue with delicate bubbles. Roasted aromas, ripe citrus fruits, almond, smoke. Hints of roasted coffee beans Complex. On the palate, high acidity, medium body, medium alcohol and medium plus concentration. Very long and elegant whilst being surprisingly fresh and moreish. Hard to fault. Drink now until 2026+. — 10 years ago
Very smooth and yet with a pleasant kick. With meat tom sauce and rice. 13%ABV — 10 years ago
UBBBP Vol. 20 Winner — 11 years ago
Another very nice Cali cab. — 11 years ago
Oh right, that's why I like French Malbec better then Argentine. Red, spicy, but not too inky or floral. — 11 years ago
