This is actually the “Fraulein” Kick-On Ranch Vineyard Riesling. Structured from 20 hours on the skins. Fruity with ripe orchard apples. Aged in neutral oak. Producer notes “white chocolate” on the shelf talker and it is surprisingly accurate. Unique, leans Australian in style. — 5 years ago
Chocolate, cherry and currant. So delicious. — 5 years ago

Questo Chardonney e’ buono, ha il corpo giusto e crisp abbastanza. E’ equibilibrato con polpo grillia. Pensando il prezzo da Wine Insider, sarebbe giusto di comprare piu botteglie. — 6 years ago
Decanted. Complex very interesting — 7 years ago
Chasing my chaotic self-administered pandemic hair chopping with a Gewurtz from Arroyo Seco which seems to me apropos as I imagine the region as wind-swept and tousled. This wine is not so much and that is a good thing. All is in harmony. There is just the right amount of everything and it hits you in order—the lychees are followed by a green lawn leading to the flower garden full of roses and gardenias all spirited along by a nice amount of acid and powered by a prickling tannin. I’m not normally the biggest Gewurtz fan but I’d reach for this a second time. I’d maybe even pair it with a “hard to pair” thing like artichoke. Something about the floral nature of both I think could line up. Is that crazy? Maybe. But this is coming from someone who just used her kitchen scissors to give herself an intentionally asymmetrical haircut. — 4 years ago

Blackberries, strawberries, black cherry, tobacco on the nose. Blackberries, black cherries — lots of fruit. Soft tannins, medium to high acidity. — 5 years ago
The perfect resting spot between art and sweet. Very calm flavor — 6 years ago
Good enough for a baby bottle nipple and then curling up to watch a movie 🤣 This wine is for everyone. Light then tart/sweet, then dry then nothing. Clean, smooth, refreshing. I’m running out of fancy words here. Just try it and see. Fits everyone in a group. — 6 years ago
