Amazing Greek Syrah from beautiful parts of northern Greece. Had this with friends. Wanted to hold off on opening but for such a young wine. Amazing. Give it another 10 years... even better. — 4 years ago

The perfect Santorini red - tart, light but rich — 6 years ago
Härlig aidani från Santorini. 100% ståltank men har till trots en grym textur och oljig munkänsla. Frukten är återhållsam utan att någonsin försvinna. Nätmelon, päron och lime. Grym mineralitet och lång fin syra. — 7 years ago
Outstanding, this wine has so much more than simply being sweet. Piney and resinous, it fluctuates between flavors of sugar dusted dried apricots, candied lemons, marzipan, and honeycomb with pine sap, pollen, chaparral, white balsamic, mint and blanched herbs adding a more savory complexity. Unctuous and long. 80% Assyrtiko, 10% Aidani, 10% Athiri.

Greek wine evening, wine #4
Santorini Assyrtiko - a wine where the absolut lack of fruit is an asset!
Rich yet austere, salty, mineral, with great tension & energy, volcanic minerality, salty wet stones and just a tiny whiff of lemon peel.
Amazing depth, purity and length. This is sooo good! — 5 years ago
Light, crisp and perfect for a hot day. — 7 years ago
By far the most earthly wine I ever tried. Wind, smoke, pronounced grilled bread when just opened. A really rare variety, Mouhtaro, fortunately not to be found easily. Like a good poetry. — 7 years ago
Reminded me of the song “pink” by Aerosmith: happy, slightly silly, pretty. Loving it. — 2 years ago
At Mojo with my hubby. Greek orange amber wine. Beautiful — 4 years ago
Hard to find anything other than superlatives for this. We finished a third today and are looking forward to how it evolves open over how many additional days we have the patience to sip without finishing it. — 6 years ago

Delicious! I like Sauvignon Blanc, but some of it can be overpowering for me. On the other hand, love Assyrtiko. This is a beautiful blend! Not only terrific fruit and minerality, but nice and dry…and it has some brine…I dare even say a green olive tinge. Loved it…and even tastier when in Cyprus ;-) — 2 years ago
