Great fruit non-sweet — 8 years ago
Outstanding, this wine has so much more than simply being sweet. Piney and resinous, it fluctuates between flavors of sugar dusted dried apricots, candied lemons, marzipan, and honeycomb with pine sap, pollen, chaparral, white balsamic, mint and blanched herbs adding a more savory complexity. Unctuous and long. 80% Assyrtiko, 10% Aidani, 10% Athiri.

Cherry lifesavers on the surface with lots of acidity on the finish. — 13 years ago
Hard to find anything other than superlatives for this. We finished a third today and are looking forward to how it evolves open over how many additional days we have the patience to sip without finishing it. — 7 years ago
By far the most earthly wine I ever tried. Wind, smoke, pronounced grilled bread when just opened. A really rare variety, Mouhtaro, fortunately not to be found easily. Like a good poetry. — 8 years ago
Very expressive combination of floral and mineral aromas. Mouth puckering acidity that handcuffs any fruit that wants to get flabby. I will confess I was surprised to learn there was some new French oak utilized. What I love about wine and especially tasting blind is I am constantly reminded how little I know. — 8 years ago
Really good. Fruity and light, perfect with seafood. — 9 years ago
Lovely and complex. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2015 - a nose with lemon, citrus and a slight touch of passion fruit. Crisp wine of Malagousia grapes and Assyrtiko grapes. Good acidity, nice balance, citrus aftertaste. Wine with character for adventurous winelovers, buy Gerovassiliou when you find it... — 10 years ago
Amazing! Rich, fruity, worths 100% its value! (~35€) — 11 years ago

Regardless of how dark a grape is, island/hot coastal wine regions in that part of the world (Greece and Italy, Spanish and French islands, etc). Always seem to have a fresh minerality to them. Black tea, currants, dry, dry, dry. Very dark, but all freshened up by that island minerality. — 7 years ago
