Unmistakably Steiermark SB - green asparagus, nettle, grass with a pronounced mineral, stony, slightly smokey backbone. On the palate this is tightly wound around a core of juicy, vibrant, mineral acidity. Yet it has (just) enough body & great depth with a spicy, vibrant mineral finish to make it a really profound wine. This one should wait for at least another 10y. Keltaluumuisuuttakin mukavasti, mutta tosiaan myös raikkautta, inan jopa pistävyyttä. Pale translucent with an initial exotic outburst of pineapple and melon, then a bit more subdued with grassy aromas and a strong note of ginger. On the palate with a great mouthfeel, juicy and with a touch of tannin. Ripe pear & melon with a ginger / spicy edge, a pinch of saltiness and ending with a mineral, lemony streak. Light but with character, highly drinkable and delightful. — 6 years ago
