Brown Brothers

King Valley Methode Traditionelle Pinot Noir Blend

Delicious buttery bubbly, and very reasonably priced — 7 years ago

Olabisi

King Vineyard Syrah 2008

Teeth staining excellence. Good Petite's are a rare breed, but sole proprietor Ted Osborne has a magic touch. Sensational fruit contracts never hurt.
Dense purple hue, vibrancy, black cherry, ripe plumb, fresh blueberry, cedar.

Very interesting wine. Straight petite verdot, very limited production...awesome suggestion by the guy at Coppa. No idea of cost or how to get it but would like to buy again — 11 years ago

Brown Brothers

Patricia Late Harvested King Valley Noble Riesling 2008

Two vintages of the same wine-Brown Brothers best sticky-#riesling ; score is for the 2009 which has elegance and balance; purer botrytis; 2008 is fattening despite its trophies; excellent drinks on the light bodied end of dessert style; unwooded; 9.5 & 11 % respectively. — 9 years ago

Arterberry Maresh

Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

This was probably the stand out red in the bunch, and really made appreciate the more acidic, lean Pinot Noirs that are coming out of Oregon. The others had a bit too much bite, but this one was extremely well put together. Fabulously rich, smooth, with excellent fruit showing, cherry and mint (again...) and a faint oak. This wine took the tasting up a f**king notch. Great wine, but about $30 north of my price range - Ross Gardiner — 10 years ago
