This was before Kilkanoon. 100% from the old vines. The fruit is still strong. Beautifully developed. Elegant and regal. Well done Nick and Sonie! — 8 years ago
Very nice - An enjoyable Aussie red. Well balanced, with a decent amount of power in the fruit. — 9 years ago
How can one resist that nose of liqueur chocolate? Some sour cherry on the palate, with a little bit of dusty chewiness and stewed fruit. It's rather delicious. — 10 years ago
Recommended, it contains all elements you would appreciate in red wine :) — 8 years ago
So so smooth and settled, fragrant and deep flavours that are subtle and very long and smooth. Had it after airing overnight — 8 years ago
Superb with a 500g porterhouse! — 9 years ago
Here is one to lay down for a while.
Also great now but for $40 why wouldn't you wait and be rewarded? — 9 years ago
Intense rich and delicious cab — 10 years ago
Not overly ripe like the Kilikanoon. More restrained and spicy with earthy/mineral notes. In balance - medium to full bodied - not a Heathcote blockbuster. — 10 years ago

Wow this is a great wine. Thick and unctuous and utterly delicious. Like drinking elixir of syrah. I loved this. Could almost be mistaken for a great Alban Syrah. — 8 years ago
Drinking beautifully. Winner winner chicken dinner. Instead of chicken dinner insert home made French onion soup. — 9 years ago
Wonderful fruity and sweet aroma with dark berries. Powerful flavor with nice tannins. Very nice! — 10 years ago
