Best execution from Cali of a top burgundy. All seafood menu and it was perfect. If you rob the cradle, decant early ... Last taste will be the best. Keep for your 2020 fete. — 11 years ago

Cradle robbing but oh so good! Very bright, great acidity opens up nicely. Beautiful bottle of wine! — 10 years ago
Funky, medium bodied and carrying the right amount of acidity to cradle the dark black fruits and black peppered cured meat tones. — 11 years ago
drink like a baron, with heavy artillery: 3L of creamy, perfectly balanced Barons de Rothschild #Champagne Brut NV perfectly balanced on my trusty VCanter wine cradle — 11 years ago
Robbed the cradle, initially dismissed it as a generic natural wine, day two opened up to reveal some generosity and a hint of fruit. But this wine is really all about the minerals. Like drinking black stones. — 13 years ago
Made in the central part of Saint-Joseph, on the steepest hill (above the village of Mauves) with granite soil (just like Hermitage) from 90+ year old vines. The name of the vineyard is called simply 'Saint Joseph'. This is the original part of the appellation. In other words 'Le Berceau' (the cradle). Powerful wine, dark fruit, smoked meats. On the bold side of the spectrum, but damn great. — 10 years ago

100% cab - I know it is young and I feel like I am robbing the cradle - but heard some good things so decided to break protocol - after one hour of decanting it is still young - cannot wait to try again in five years - three words to describe - big bold and beautiful - but why stop there - the detail notes are great expressive aromatics smell and taste - dark red color from dark red fruits - great palette, legs, depth and structure - tannins are refined - this will only get better as it rest more - enjoy - and all Smiling here
