I remember this being very good and being impressed with JP Pinot when visiting. At 8 years this wine has developed really well and still has a couple years to it left. There’s a good black pepper on the nose with dried leaves, tree bark, and red currant. The acidity rushes down the side of my mouth with a mild tannin finish on the tip of the tongue. At the Zwanze Day Destival at Jolly Pumpkin. Fantastic beers all around, but this offering from JP was the best. Aged for 6 years, according to the BrewMaster they release 2 cases. Fantastic beer - one of the best I've ever had from JP. — 10 years ago
