Slaying. Beautiful color, earth and wet leaves upon opening, cherries and spice showing off a couple hours in. 11.6 abv, acid still going strong. Need more. Thank you, @Jonathan Oakes ! — 11 years ago

Drank this wine accompanied by Jonathan Maltus and his wife Lyn, the owners of the Chateau since they were kind enough to accept a dinner invitation! Clear, deep ruby. Clean, medium intensity nose, dark fruit, chocolate, leather. Full body, medium acidity, medium level of tannins (very silky). Flavours of plums, cherries, chocolate. Long finish. Very good. — 12 years ago

Fantastic. Wish it wasn't our last bottle of the 2012. Subtle Pinot fruit with thyme in the nose. Earthy palate of damp mulch or wet leaves with a nicely balanced red fruit and a savory and slight saltiness in the finish. A great wine from a really cool winery. Stop by and say hi to Jonathan! — 10 years ago
