Tastes like a jolly rancher. Sour. But not sugary or sweet. — 10 years ago
Barbaresco albeisa 2010
This Nebbiolo has a very light smokey aroma, with bright red current, cherry jolly rancher candy, porcini mushroom and black licorice.
Firm tannins and really nice acidity.
Could use another 5 year in the bottle.

Ruby color with appealing strawberry cream, sour cherry jolly rancher aromas with light spice, and mineral notes. On the palate, it's light-bodied with vibrant acidity, a juicy texture underscored a some dusty tannins with strawberry, sour cherry, plum, spice and a bit of earthiness on the finish. Medium plus finish. A wonderful Beaujolais style wine. Fermented with the native yeasts on the grapes; aged in large French oak barrels; unfined; and bottled with low SO2 levels 2012 Vintage — 10 years ago

Like fresh watermelon jolly-ranchers. Just picked up my 2014, not sure if any of these 12 bottles will be reserved for summer! — 11 years ago

Very nicely done strawberries. — 10 years ago
Another terrific beer from Jolly Pumpkin. Definitely improves with some time in the glass; much better on tap at the brewpub in Ann Arbor. Doesn't have the depth of the La Roja (which is by far my favorite JP), but still a great beer. — 11 years ago

Classic from Jolly Pumpkin, this is not as good as the Rozilla or La Roja du Kriek, but nevertheless is a terrific sour. — 10 years ago
