From magnum. Huge shift from Les Charbonnieres. Lots of dusty & woodsy character coming to the fore. — 9 years ago
Pre-Phyloxera Grenache. Very old vines. Cranberries and red plums on the nose. Smooth soft mouthfeel. Silly. Some baking spices. Stewed plums. Yummy. — 9 years ago
Melon rind, honey, white flowers, very interesting and complex nose. Guessing marsanne, roussane and a bit of viognier. Very light, with great acid. — 10 years ago

Disclaimer: a coworker makes this wine.
Pretty wound up. Wish we had decanted.
Nose isn't very giving, but sweet cherries, slight dried florals, very faint earth/mushroom/brett?, and a generous serving of spice/oak.
The palate is much more generous and cohesive. Very silky tannin. Finish was incredibly long. — 9 years ago

Not to date my baby-momma, but her graduation year wine is still full of life. — 12 years ago
All previous negative reviews were for ‘05 vintage. Guess the winemaker fixed the “problem” by 2012. $55 purchased in New Orleans to drink with our beef tenderloin, Holiday Dinner. Did not disappoint in fact, when I asked my wine guy for a solid burgundy for $50-60, he nailed it with this election. Very traditional and will purchase again. The acidity from ‘05 reviews not present here. Nice red fruit, but not overbearing. Second glass after a little air and chill was highlife if he evening. — 7 years ago
Pronounced mix of floral and mineral notes on both the nose and first sip--almost like an earthy, light red! But ripe lemons and pink grapefruit come on the back end and linger a while, only to have the floral return. Full bodied with lots of acid. An interesting, if odd balance of notes. — 9 years ago
