Blackberry, raspberry, cassis, cherry, vanilla, chocolate and oak. Good structure and soft tannins. — 7 years ago
A delightful Pinot. On the nose graphite, smoke, licorice, and tart cherries. On the palate bright cherries, leather, dark berry medley, anise, sweet pipe tobacco, with hints of game. While not generally my style this is a PN I actually wouldn’t mind having on hand due to it being a quality, approachable expression. — 8 years ago

2018 vintage. Haven’t tasted the 2018 Gravelly Meadow but RRT is more forward drinking-with oodles of berries and earth-than the 2018 Volcanic Hill (usually the fave of the three). Silky finish with that light, yet expressive, Diamond Creek body that they’re known for. — 4 years ago
Reminds me of a Black Forest meadow lined with elderberries. In the glass fresh Elderberries mountain thyme and herbs. My favorite Pinot. Consistent quality year in year out. The most character driven Pinot money can buy. Turbid unfiltered and light in color. Give it 1 hour! The wine looks light but the complexity is unbeatable! Even better than the 15. — 7 years ago
Light in color and texture but also earthy flavors- very drinkable. — 8 years ago
The best of a few Cabs I had that day. — 8 years ago
Lovely Merlot. Very strong dark fruit on the nose. The balance is good. Body provides a nice mouth feel. Lots of mocha flavors on this one. Lingering tannin finish is nice. — 8 years ago
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Vineyard Blend is an experimental wine that was bottled a few times in Diamond Creek's history, but never officially commercially released. The 2013, a blend of 70% Volcanic Hill, 25% Red Rock Terrace, and 5% Gravelly Meadow is superb. What a wine. Rich, powerful and savory, the 2013 is just starting to enter the place where it is approachable, in relative terms of course. There is still plenty of hillside tannin, and yet there is so much about the 2013 that is alluring. The aromatic breadth, the intensity of the fruit and the wine's persistence are all so compelling. Wow. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2021)

Would make a delicious sangria, add some fruit and be done — 8 years ago
The Sea Ridge Chardonnay is rich and ample all in the Martinelli style but well balanced. Lemon pie, custard, ripe melons and French oak. Not the most subtle wine but very good in its own right. — 8 years ago
Zingy, something almost...Chardonnay-ish about it. Not in a bad way. I don't love it like I did the 2015 but I'd drink it again. It got those asparagus notes crossed with pear and apple. I like it. I miss 2015 but hey that's wine--every year is it's own thing — 9 years ago
