Mild with a dash of Rowanberry jam. Great aperitif. Dry. No lingering aftertaste. The Danes are to funny. They say " for any occasion and at any time throughout the day" — 11 years ago

Very well made Rye. Probably the best I have tried. Delicate yet full of oak. Now I understated what a real Rye tastes like. Perfect for sipping. — 8 years ago

Monkey 47 Dry Distiller Gin. Slightly hazy, water white, colourless. Pronounced intensity of perfume, juniper, lingonberry, violets, lavender, orange and grapefruit zest. With water added, more perfume and citrus notes to the fore. Dry on the palate. Warming alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity. Long finish. Very complex. Outstanding example of a premium gin. — 10 years ago

We enjoyed this at Husk Nashville last night. It was recommended bc it pairs well with a wide variety of foods. The sommelier put it on the menu for this purpose & highly recommended their catfish, chicken or pork entrees to go with it. The flavors changed throughout the meal. At first it smelled earthy & musky. Acidic beginning with hints of fennel & a dark cherry. By the middle of our meal it strangely had an effervescent mouth feel & became more fruit forward. By the end it tasted strongly of strawberry jam. The reason I rated it so highly is bc it flowed through dinner so well! - this was the 2012 vintage — 11 years ago
Ballester Hnos. If you like a complex taste, and hand-crafted, small batches (i.e. some variability), then you should try this. — 12 years ago

Lemon oil on a swab, smoky flint, underripe melon, squash blossom, corn husk bordering on jalapeño muffin, hay bale, eggshell, pie crust and white mushrooms are the primary scents. Lighter mouthfeel, with an unexpected creaminess turns olive oil with lemon oil, caperberry, and rag paper. Austerity minimized by a day of age. #moutard #chablis #chablisfordays #blancshavemorefun #blanc #chablisian #hashtag #vivelafrance — 8 years ago
