Very dry and lots of lemon and grapefruit. Good and refreshing on a hot day. — 10 years ago
2011: all varieties. Meaty, lavender, garden herbs, smoky, but still very vibrant red fruit. Lovely vibrancy of red fruit and all Mouvedre and Grenache aromatics. Sweet fruit, juicy acidity, hot indian spice and liquorice. Plum, cherry, spiced. Quite ready now. — 11 years ago

2011- gift from a friend. Excellent structure, tannins are very mellow but alcohol is still very hot. Fruit forward, possibly oxidized fruit (port-like fruit). — 11 years ago
Very bold, strong, long finish, good. NOT as good after opened for awhile — 12 years ago
First wine opened for our homemade grilled pizza night. Great bottle to start with. Opened and let sit for about 2 hours-wanted to come across a little hot with the alcohol being so high but turned out to be perfect. Definitely a bottle to share! Black jam fruits on the nose-smoke, spice and a hint of herbs on the finish. Fun bottle! — 10 years ago
A lush "vinho verde" - or green wine! Beats Casal Garcia and Santola. Very fresh tasting. Easily drink several bottles on a hot sunny day at lunch! Has a great little "fizz" feeling on the tongue. — 11 years ago
Don't be afraid of the rose. Great on these hot Austin nights. Syrah grape. $9-11/bottle and an excellent buy — 12 years ago

Amazing. Impressive acidity from such a hot region - amador - hot weather tastes with low alcohol (12.8%) and high acidity. — 10 years ago
Nothing better on a hot summer day. Lightly spritzy with strawberry, watermelon and a touch of saline. — 11 years ago
Nose: raspberry, currant, vanilla bean, cedar, wet clay
Palate: raspberry, fig, sweet black tea, cherry. Explosive attack, a little hot and sugary. Let it breathe. — 11 years ago

Light, crisp with lemon and strong minerality. The acid is not light, but this is very refreshing on a hot, sunny day. — 10 years ago
