Deep ruby coloration. On the nose blackberry and dark berry. On the palate dark berry and high tannins. Cassis. Age worthy. — 6 years ago
A full-body Pinot! Deep Ruby with berry aromas, floral and garden spice. On the palate ripe strawberry and dried cherry fruit with vanilla spice and cedar notes. The wine is well structured, silky smooth tannins, balanced acidity carry the wine to a lingering spicy finish. Very Nice! — 6 years ago

2012 on march21, 2017 after a one hour decant. Wow, rose petals, bright acidity, more earthy than fruity, medium body. I really like that it's 12.6% Alc. Extremely small production ( 588 bottles ). — 9 years ago
Franklyn and I both loved this wine. Purchased in Sonoma May 2015. Drank February 2017 — 9 years ago

My wife and I had the 2011 after recommendation from her brother who is well versed on wines. This was a great wine with veal that we prepared at home. We had the pleasure of eating lunch at the family's restaurant in Vienna a few months ago and enjoyed the experience and personnel immensely. This is an intense wine but very smooth with plum, black cherry and other complex fruity flavors. In short a great Tuscan wine. We were able to get this for just under $90 at our local Total Wine store. We are waiting to enjoy the bottles of the 2012 that are in the wine cabinet. — 9 years ago
Bottle doesn't say Sangiovese. This is just 2013 Chianti Classico. Brought home by friends who visited Italy. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Deep deep flavour for a pinot. Cherry at the end of many delicious layers. 2016 with xmas turkey. — 6 years ago
The 2010 Esprit de Beaucastel from Tablas Creek was a tough act to follow, but this elegant Rhône blend from Sonoma just did that.
The nose was quite similar with aroma of blue fruits and earthy elements with hint of violet, it was the palate that set it apart: soft, complex and deep, with great texture and beautiful acidity that adds the tension. Elegant and seamless.
