Found this wonderful Pinot Noir at a fun Wine bar with Ty and Cay. Light fruit forward- opens up nicely- great with the cheese board. — 5 years ago

Larry Holmes’ left jab, just as he was overtaking Ali. Big, blowsy, classic Zin that manages to balance huge ripeness and extract against a core of real freshness and tension. Adept, subtle use of American oak shows this wine to be the ageworthy classic it is. — 6 years ago
9/1/2021: Pretty good but not good enough to buy a bottle. — 4 years ago
Nose is met with burning ethyl acetate, toffee, and some Chinese sauce (maybe hoisin). On the palate, dark chocolate, expresso, and latte, with a finish John Holmes would be proud of. The libation is dark, dark, dark. And it is outstanding for the price. — 5 years ago
This skin contact Pinot Gris is made by a dear friend. A beautiful, bright ruby color with a magenta rim. Slightly turbid with a translucent core. Medium- viscosity. The wine is natty on the nose. Dank cherry and red rope licorice. On the palate, the wine is dry and initially the slightest bit effervescent but that dissipates with about 15min in the glass, leaving it perfectly still. Low tannins and medium+ acid. Tart cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, underripe forest strawberries, orange pith, limestone minerals. The finish is long, bright and satisfying. A wonderful wine for the first day of Spring. — 3 years ago
A very good sipping wine. Drank the bottle while playing Sherlock Holmes. Had some Dubliner and cheap smoked Gouda with it but did well even when not eating. — 5 years ago

Never had a rum from Fiji before. This is tasty stuff though. It’s big and rich…but what else do you expect from a 17yr aged rum? — 15 days ago
